Tucked into a quiet cul-de-sac in one of Big Bear's most desirable neighborhoods, Castle Glen is a classic mountain cabin with a modern edge. This 1,984 square foot single-story home (just 2 steps to enter) sleeps 10, all surrounded by mature trees.

We provide shampoo, conditioner, body wash, cotton rounds, q-tips, and floss picks, along with 1 hand towel and 2 washcloths per bathroom, plus 10 bath and 10 spa towels. These are not intended for lake use, so please bring extra towels if you're headed to the lake. A minimum of 2 rolls of toilet paper are provided per bathroom, with more depending on group size and length of stay. If your group tends to go through a lot, we recommend bringing extra.
Kitchen & Dining: Our open-concept kitchen looks right out into the dining and living areas, with counter seating for 4. You'll find a full-size fridge, gas stove, and dishwasher for whipping up your favorite meals, and if takeout is more your style, that works too. The kitchen comes fully stocked with utensils, dishware, cookware, and bakeware, plus a starter supply of paper towels, trash bags, dish soap, coffee, and sugar. Coffee lovers are covered with both a 12-cup drip maker and a Keurig. A pantry offers extra storage space, and is also where you'll find the highchair and patio cushions.
The dining table seats 6 (4 chairs plus a bench) and opens right onto the back patio through a sliding glass door.
Living Room: Relax on the sofa or one of two oversized armchairs, gather around the coffee table, or challenge someone to the barrel multi-game arcade unit. Stream your favorite shows on the large smart TV, or settle in by the wood-burning fireplace for a true mountain night in. Firewood is not provided, but can be delivered with 24-hour notice or picked up at several spots around town. Any wood left behind by previous guests is yours to use.
Heated Gaming Garage: This is where the fun happens. A full-size pool table, foosball, air hockey, bean bag toss, and an electronic dart console keep everyone entertained, with a 60 inch smart TV, bar stools, and two couches for lounging in between rounds.
Back Deck: Soak in the hot tub, gather around the fire pit, grill up dinner, and stretch out on the patio furniture (cushions stored in the kitchen pantry). Accessible from the dining area and primary bedroom. Propane is refilled weekly. If the tank runs low during your stay, feel free to swap it. We'll reimburse the cost with a photo of the itemized receipt.
Front Deck: A covered spot with a log loveseat, perfect for your morning coffee, which wraps around to connect with the back deck.
Parking & Getting Around: Concrete driveway parking for up to 3 vehicles, plus a Tesla EV charger on site. AWD or 4x4 is recommended during winter months.
Good to Know: This home does not have curbside trash pickup, as local wildlife tends to be drawn to the bins. Trash should be taken to a nearby free drop-off location instead. Due to homeowner restrictions, pets are not permitted.
